Guaranteed Pay

Our Digital Reporters are guaranteed compensation if an event is cancelled after it starts or if it is cancelled within 24 hours or its start time.

Cancelled after start

The minimum compensation for an event scheduled for an hour or longer that is cancelled after it's start time or ends early will be the 10 minutes of prep + 1 hour minimum.

Cancelled within 24 hours

The minimum compensation for an event scheduled for an hour or longer that was cancelled within 24 hours of it's scheduled start time is 1 hour.

• Hourly Rates:
  • Beginner Level Events (Examinations Under Oath - EUOs): $22/hour
  • Court Reporter Events (NJ and MI events): $22/hour
  • Intermediate & Advanced Level Events (Depositions): $28/hour
  • Multi-Witness Events: $35/hour *
  • Expert Level Events (Enterprise Clients): $35/hour
  • Depositions in Aid (Client: Lotane): $32/hour

For EUOs and Depositions scheduled for less than an hour, DRs are guaranteed the scheduled length plus 10 minutes of preparation.

*Multi-witness events are considered one event in regards to compensation
