Out of State Events

What if I was assigned an event in another state?

Most States (Excluding NJ & MI):

There is no extra action needed on your end if you are assigned to an event in another state. The opening paragraph in the script has you state your jurisdiction, if an attendee takes issue with you not being in state you can reach out to Event Operations Support at (213) 632-5374 and let them know.

NJ & MI:

This is a Court Reporter Event and you can follow the directions in 'Court Reporter Events'.

Always remember: As a neutral third party, you must allow counsel to decide amongst themselves how to proceed when there is any objection. You are welcome to offer solutions if asked, but allow counsels to discuss together and come to a conclusion themselves.
