How to set up a professional workspace?


Your video presence is an important part of maintaining professionalism and ensuring trust during proceedings. As a Digital Reporter, you should present yourself in a way that is clear, consistent, and aligned with Filevine’s standards. The following guidelines outline how your video should appear in every event.


Video appearance:

  • Centered in the video, camera is eye level or higher, mid-shoulders to top of head is in the frame.
  • Camera is on when attendees begin joining the call.
  • Camera is on for the full duration of the event, aside from 2 exceptions:
    • When a witness is not present, and the attorney present has specified a CNA wait time, you may turn off your camera while waiting to call the agreed upon CNA.
    • When on an “off the record” break.
  • Must use the Depositions by Filevine background.
